Privacy Policy

Top Press operates NewsAgent, software used by publishers to manage news-production and publishing workflows. This policy explains how we handle personal and connection data when an organization uses NewsAgent.

Information we process

We process account and operational information needed to provide the service, such as a user name, contact details, portal configuration, publishing records, and support communications.

When a user connects a Facebook Page, we may receive Facebook-provided identifiers, the Page ID and name, granted permissions, and a Page access token. We use this information only to show the authorized Page, publish or manage content requested through NewsAgent, maintain delivery records, and secure the connection.

How we use and protect it

We use data to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. Access is limited to people and systems that need it for those purposes. Access tokens are treated as credentials and are not displayed in the product interface or included in public logs.

Retention and sharing

We retain connection data while a portal remains connected and retain limited operational records only as needed for security, reconciliation, support, and legal obligations. We do not sell personal data. We may use hosting and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf to operate NewsAgent.

Your choices

A Page owner can disconnect NewsAgent through the product when that capability is available, remove the business integration through Facebook, or request deletion using the process on our data-deletion page.

This policy is an operational starting point. Before onboarding external customers, Top Press should have it reviewed for its legal entity, jurisdiction, data processors, and final retention rules.
