Data deletion instructions

You can request deletion of data associated with a NewsAgent account or a connected Facebook Page.

Disconnect through Facebook

In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Business integrations. Find the Top Press integration and remove it. This prevents future API calls using that connection.

Request deletion from Top Press

Email [email protected] with the subject NewsAgent Data Deletion Request. Include the email used to access NewsAgent and the connected Page name or Page ID. Do not send passwords or access tokens by email.

We will verify the request, disable the related connection, delete the stored connection credential and associated personal connection data, and send a confirmation. Limited records may be retained only where necessary for security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

What this does not delete

Removing a connection does not delete posts already published on a Facebook Page or WordPress site. Those assets remain under the portal owner's control and must be managed in the relevant platform.

Before Meta App Review, NewsAgent must add the corresponding automated deauthorization and signed-request deletion callback. This public page supplies the user-facing instructions in the meantime.
